First Generation
1. Betty SLADE was born in 1766 (approx.). She married Henry TROTT in 1799 in West Monkton, Somerset. She died in 1816 in West Monkton. She was buried on 18 February 1816 in West Monkton.

He married Anne HAWKINS on 6 October 1836 in Creech St.Michael, Soms. He died on 20 August 1888 in West Monkton. He was buried in August 1888 in West Monkton, Soms. St. Augustines.
Anne HAWKINS was born in 1813 (approx.) in Creech St.Michael. She was resident. She died on 8 February 1896. She was buried in February 1896 in West Monkton. She and Francis TROTT had the following children:

My gt-grandmother Maria (daughter of Francis and Ann) married a Bath man. But her sisters Lizzie and Liza moved to Bath also at some point - presumably to work.Francis' children seems to have spread out in all directions. Ann married in London and Robert in Newton Abbott.
Enjoy your visit to Bath. I was there the week before last and spent an enjoyable day wandering round the centre down some of the many little side streets around the Abbey. I went to school in Bath and have been back regularly ever since as I still have relatives and friends in the area.
I still have a few bits of a tea set that belonged to Lizzie and Liza, and I suspect their parents before them. Not valuable, but nice to have. The pair of them seem to have been servants in various places in Somerset at the time of the various censuses. They finally settled in a little terrace house in Bath that was still occupied by their niece until her death in 1962. I used to visit her in the 1950s.
