First Generation
1. William Henry Shepherd FOSTER was born in 1798 (approx.) in Lincs. 1 He was a Collector. He was resident. He married Matilda TROTT on 4 April 1849 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. He died in June 1859 in Lambeth, Surrey.

Matilda TROTT , daughter of Charles TROTT (aft1789-1851) and Susannah WIDDESON (1792?-1874), was born in 1827 (approx.) in Walworth, Surrey. She was baptised on 3 June 1827 in Walworth St Peter, Surrey. She was a Flower Maker (of St.Saviour's). She was resident. She married John Wallace SHETTLE on 24 July 1870 in St.Marys, Lambeth, surrey. She died on 17 October 1890 in Metropolitan Asylum, Caterham, Surrey. She was buried on 22 October 1890 in M.A. Caterham Cemetery. 2 She and William Henry Shepherd FOSTER had the following children:

2. John William FOSTER , son of William Henry Shepherd FOSTER and Matilda TROTT, was born on 9 February 1857 in Lambeth Hospital, York Road, Lambeth, Surrey. He married Lucy Annie Foulger BARTLETT on 20 March 1881 in St.Stephen's, Walworth, Surrey. He died on 11 November 1927.
