First Generation

1. Ellen SHETTLE , daughter of John Wallace SHETTLE (1834-1873) and Matilda TROTT (1827?-1890), was born on 21 March 1868 in 21 Andersons Walk, Lambeth. She was a Nurse 1891-1901. She was resident. She married George COOPER on 24 February 1895 in St.Lukes, Battersea, Surrey. She married George SHERWOOD on 7 June 1902 in St.Andrew Par.Church Stockwell, London. She died on 3 January 1928 in 5 Park Rd, Waltham Cross, Herts. She was buried in 1928 in Bury Green Cem with husband.

George SHERWOOD was born on 9 December 1874 in Boughton, Wye Sub-Dist, E Ashford.Dist. He was a Nurseryman. He was resident. He died on 21 December 1942 in 5 Park Rd. He was buried in December 1942 in Bury Green Cem.Cheshunt, Herts. He and Ellen SHETTLE had the following children:

George COOPER was born in 1869 (approx.). He died before April 1901.

Second Generation

2. Reginald George SHERWOOD , son of George SHERWOOD and Ellen SHETTLE, was born on 22 May 1903 in Gate House, Boughton Aluph, Kent. He was baptised on 12 July 1903 in Boughton Aluph KEN. He married on 31 October 1953 in Colnbrook Par.Church, Bucks. In 1981 he was resident in 26 Laurels Rd, Iver Heath Bucks. He was a Nursery Foreman. He died on 22 February 1981 in Wexham Park Hosp. Slough, Bucks. He was buried in February 1981 in Crematorium Slough.

3. Winifred May SHERWOOD , daughter of George SHERWOOD and Ellen SHETTLE, was born in June 1905 in E.Ashford RD, Kent. She was resident. She died in December 1960 in Colnbrook Nursery(with Reg). She was buried in 1960 in Woking Crematorium.

4. Herbert John SHERWOOD , son of George SHERWOOD and Ellen SHETTLE, was born on 5 June 1907 in Kingswood Hill, Boughton Aluph KEN. He was a Horticultural Worker. He was resident. He married on 5 May 1934 in Edmonton Register Office MDX. He died on 19 May 1966 in Chase Farm Hosp.Enfield MDX. He was buried in May 1966 in Bury Green Cem.Cheshunt HRT.
